Michael is the 22 year old son of Marvin
and Kash Stucki of Tigard, Oregon. Besides working at the stables
caring for the horses, Michael along with his 18 year
old sister, Marci, has been showing Miniature Horses for ten years.
Michael shows in halter, showmanship, driving and just recently in both the hunter and halter obstacle classes at both Miniature and Pinto Shows. He competes in both the Amateur and Special Needs Divisions with his very own horse, Heermanns Whiskey Light. "Whiskey" is an AMHA National Champion Country Pleasure Driving and Hunter horse purchased from Nancy Rivenburgh, Rivenburgh Miniature Horse Farm. In 2004, at the AMHA World Show, Michael was Reserve World Champion in Youth Special Needs Exhibiting A Mare or Gelding - 17 years and under and Top Ten in Youth Special Needs Showmanship - 17 years and under. He was also given the Youth Sportsmanship Award. At the 2005, AMHA World Show, Michael received Top Tens in both Adult Special Needs Showmanship and Adult Special Needs Exhibiting A Mare or Gelding. At the 2006, AMHA World Show, Michael was World Champion in Group Costume, Reserve World Champion in Adult Special Needs Showmanship and Top Ten in Adult Special Needs Exhibiting a Mare or Gelding. In 2007, Michael again showed at the AMHA World Show winning a World Championship in Group Costume, a Reserve World Championship in Adult Costume and Top Tens in Adult Special Needs Showmanship, Adult Special Needs Exhibiting a Mare or Gelding and Special Needs Driving. |
